The SeraQuant algorithm is based on two sub-algorithms: detection and calculation.

During the detection part, the colored lines of the membrane test are detected automatically by the camera and the pixel area for a further calculation is determined. The calculation is based on a calibration curve which is special for each parameter. The calculation result is an absolute value, e.g. as ng/mL with the corresponding deviation.
